Hello all,
We are about to draw up the floor plan for a house to be built this year (by Dec 31 2008) and desperately need some help with the facing direction and ideal room layout.
My husband DOB is January 5 76 and I am June 4 75. Our two children are also "west" people.
I understand our auspicious directions are NW, NE, W and SW, but what of these four are ideal for a new period 8 home (the front door direction will be the same as the facing direction).
Unfortunately we live in an isolated area and there are not, to my knowledge any Feng Shui experts nearby, so many thanks in advance for any help you can provide! The builder is eager to get our finalized drawings but I'm just a bit fearful I will put everything in the wrong place! |

Namaste,
A very simple question, but unfortunately the answer is very complex,
Before we go around fixing any facing directions, tell us about the sorrounding areas, or better upload photos of the building site with the sorrounding areas, without this one can do very little.,
a placemark on google also would help,
with regards,

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to reply to my inquiry, I really appreciate it!
We are building a new house, and are free to design the entrance, facing/sitting direction however we please.
I'm attaching a google earth image of the ten acre property. Currently there is an old farm house (historically all occupants have struggled with financial, marital and substance-abuse problems). We will be using it for storage and ultimately tearing it down.
The house may be situated wherever on the lot, and tress can be removed if neccesary to accomodate the new home. I do not want to build it on the old foundation as I feel that would be an unwise move based on that house's history...
There is a water dug out, as highlighted on the image, however it can be filled in if neccessary and really serves no purpose other than love grounds for mosquitoes!
The "main" country road is used very little, maybe with no more than 10 ars per 24 hour period. Outside of the yard perimeter is one of our fields that grows crops (we are farmers)
Thank you so much in advance for any help you can shed on facing direction along with room direciton/situation! I have read a lot but really need some guidance from an expert.
Kindest of regards
