Namaste,
Just some random observations,
in India there is this newly aquired madness of having triangle shaped window shades, or some triangle shaped gunk on the elivation .,
and i noticed that the person who happenes to live on the opposite side unfortunatley suffers very bad consequence .,
i have seen this happening too many times., to the extent that the moment i see such a land form opposite my clients building., i can say to a certain degree of certanity that their problems started as soon as the nasy elivation opposite came on ., almost always the timing is the same.,
just some observations., hope others can chip in with their take on this matter,
next time i'll share something on windtunnel shar, mountains criss cross problems, basment shops, and big buildings sorrounded by smaller ones.,
with regards.,

Namaste,
While studying FS ., many of us, be it the traditional school or the new age twangy fluffy stuff (which in my view should not be considered a part of FS at all) , come accross the wind tunnel shar.,
basically if there are two buildings with a gap in the middle, and there is another building unfortunate enough to be "facing" or receiving end of this narrow gap ., then the poor building and its residents had it.,
mostly from what i saw, it brings sudden destabilization of finances and makes people in the house very blocked.,
remedies., hmm ., though one., from what i can gather ., having a bright hall or open space between the affected building and the wind tunnel shar is one way of dissapating it., i'd not like to keep water there., because it might aggrivate the bloody issue further., if an external bright hall is not possible., then atleast there should be a free and open space in the inside of the building.,
can anyone tell me how to draw or upload stuff here., perhaps i can post a few examples.,
just some random thoughts., water in the centre of the house., yikes ., lets discuss that some other day.,
with regards.,

Namaste,
Although this is not strictly "forms/landscape" subject., here goes.,
Water in the centre of a house is not good news, so are winding staricases in the smack dab centre of the house, it destablises everthing.,
going through my case files, two very notable cases come to mind.,
one was perhaps the first shopping malls to hit coimbatore, way back., perhaps more than 10 years., the first mistake was a huge water feature with winding staircases and elevators., the building failed miserably., and still people in that mall struggle with their shops.,
another case was another mall type building ., smaller ., two huge problems., it had a road comming straight at the building and hitting it., and to compound problems elevator shafts right in the centre., not doing too well., the owners cannot even sell the place., and hardly anybody has turned a profit.,
a botique hotel in bombay., with a marine theme., has water and elevators in the centre., struggling.,
and a very very grand house belonging to a minister ., water and staircase in the centre., sold the house and encountered huge loss within months of moving in .,
that makes me think., many apartment complexes or gated communities are comming up with the swiming pool / water feature in the centre., it would be interesting to see how the complex as a whole is doing., if some one can throw more light in this matter., please do share.,
with regards,
Bhavesh.K.Joshi |
